Kaylan Strong’s Fight Like A Warrior Foundation was born out of love, resilience, and the determination to make a difference. Inspired by Kaylan’s life and courage, we are dedicated to supporting families facing DIPG and childhood cancer. As Kaylan's family, we have been there with her through the most challenging times, and we are forever grateful for the support that was available during such a scary and uncertain journey.
Even while fighting her own battle, Kaylan’s heart was with others. Her wish was to ensure that her family could help other families facing the same struggles. She dreamed of making a difference, not just for herself but for everyone walking this difficult path. Today, we carry forward her legacy, honoring her selflessness and vision to bring comfort, support, and hope to ‘Ohana across Hawaii.

Supporting Families, Fighting for a Cure
Our Mission
This Year’s Goal:
This year, we aim to award one family each month with a $500 grant to help with essentials such as rent, gas, food, or bills, so they can focus on spending precious time with their child. We also provide a one-time payment of $500 to assist families with funeral expenses during their time of need.
Future Goals:
Looking ahead, our vision is to expand support to all families in Hawaii battling DIPG and childhood cancer. Our future goals include:
Providing a $1,000 monthly grant to families fighting DIPG or terminal childhood cancer.
Supporting five families fighting childhood cancer each month with $500 grants.
Offering a one-time $1,000 payment to assist with funeral expenses.
Funding research in Hawaii for childhood brain cancer to bring us closer to a cure.
