MEET OUR WARRIORS

Isley Cachero

Isley was a cherished son and an inspiration to all who knew him. A proud graduate of Saint Louis High School's Class of 2016, he continued his academic journey at the University of Portland, where he graduated in May 2020.

During the holidays in late 2018, while home with his family, Isley began experiencing health concerns that prompted a visit to the doctor. It was then he received the life-altering diagnosis of DIPG. Despite this, Isley faced his battle with unwavering strength and resilience for over two years, embodying the spirit of a true warrior.

Known for his hardworking and determined nature, Isley had a fun-loving and easygoing personality that drew people to him wherever he went. He was passionate about paddling for Saint Louis and the Waikiki Surf Club, exploring new destinations, indulging in all things sports, and enjoying the world as a devoted foodie.

Beyond his personal pursuits, Isley extended his kindness and support to others facing DIPG. He was a proud advocate for Kaylan Strong’s Fight Like A Warrior Foundation, exemplifying the values of community, compassion, and strength in the face of adversity.
